Announcing the New Keystone Dance Academy
How do you change a young person's life in one of the most
dangerous and underserved neighborhoods in the country?
You start by believing in them and their capacity for greatness. Then you provide alternatives and opportunities that can bring out hidden gifts and overlooked talents, giving them a path that can take them out of the confines of any neighborhood. We make a difference in the lives of youth through our disciplined dance training program, which fosters excellence and empowerment.
A portion of the proceeds from the 2019 Gala will help support the new Ruth Page Keystone Dance Academy program at Wentworth Elementary School in the Englewood neighborhood of Chicago. By providing the foundation necessary to excel in the world of dance, the children of Wentworth Elementary are given the tools that bring about confidence, and which will empower them for a future outside the boundaries of any zip code.
